Cynthia Burek & Richard Stilwell, Geodiversity Trail: Walking Through the Past on the University's Chester Campus

A description of the geodiversity to be found on the Chester campus of the University of Chester and its surrounding area. It takes the form of a guided tour, showing the geology and landscape of the area and highlighting the rocks, minerals and other non-living things that can be observed. In particular, it discusses the various materials used in the construction of the University's buildings, linking them historically to the periods in which they were built. It also shows how the geodiversity of the area underpins its biodiversity. The work is copiously illustrated with colour photographs.
